Turns out there was a database backup as recently as late June for the old blog, so I was able to import the old blog entries to the new blog (this one). We lost any images/embedded files from the old site, but the posts and comments all made it over (as far as I can tell from a cursory inspection) [edit: up through the June 15 post; posts after June 15 were lost].

I will take down the old site in a few weeks, or at least put a redirect page there. Update your bookmarks as THIS is the new, permanent home for Da Havs!
