Happy Anniversaries…

Tuesday, August 26th was Mike and I’s 14th anniversary. WOW! I can’t believe we’ve been married that long. I remember thinking I was SUCH an old maid at 22. All my friends were married, I literally was the last one! I NEVER thought I would find Mr. Right.

We met at Oklahoma State University. We were friends for 6 months. He worked the night shift at the front desk of our dorm and I was a night owl. We became friends and then after Christmas that year, we realized we really cared for each other and wanted to date. 6 months later we married at the Payne County court house. After felony docket # 6 (in their bright orange jumpsuits and hand cuffs!) Judge Beldon said (and this is a direct quote!) “I don’t want to see you back here in a year getting a divorce!” You just can’t buy memories like that!!!

We were so young! And thin! hehe

Yesterday was also, Ryan’s 3rd Gotcha day! We celebrated by going bowling (Ryan’s first time!) and ate at McDonald’s (his choice!) What a great memorable day.

We love you so much Ryan Kyeong Tae. You made us a family the day we got you. You’ve brightened our lives, our little Sunshine. Thank you Father God, for giving us the most wonderful gift of all, our handsome and smart son.
