Ryan started preschool today!!! He woke up at 5:45 am and wouldn’t go back to sleep. He wouldn’t eat breakfast either! All I could think of is, wow, he’s going to have a heck of a day!!
We got to the school and put his back pack and lunch bag away and he immediately started playing with playdoh. Everything was fine, and I should have just walked out, but I couldn’t leave without saying goodbye. Well, as soon as I said, bye Ryan have a good day, he started crying so hard and wouldn’t let me leave. Finally, 10 minutes later, he started playing again and his teacher booted me out. I could hear him crying when I left the front door. 
His teacher said he cried awhile and then she let him get his Raccoon out of his back pack and he was fine. When we got to school to pick him up, he was asleep on his nap mat. We had to wake him up to take him home. He said he had a good time and will go on Friday. Somehow I don’t think he’s going to let me leave very easily!
This post just made me want to cry. He looks so grown up and handsome – what a sweetie Ryan is!

ok, reading that he started playing with playdoh i was thinking “I told you he would be fine” & then I read on. Poor Ryan! He’ll get used to it & it will be great.
