Da Havs

Ryan will turn 9 months old on December 8. I can’t believe we’ve had him for 3 months now. He is such a joy in our home. Not a day goes by that we don’t comment on how cute he is. He is almost 23 lbs now and is 29 + inches long. He is wearing 12 months clothes with some 18 months stuff. He looks great in everything we put him in, of course

He has 6 teeth now, 2 of which you can see very well. The other 4 just came out in the last 2 weeks, and so it will be awhile before we get the toothy grins.

He is already eating level 3 foods and lots of Cheerios. He wants to try new foods and really watches what we eat. I gave him some navy beans recently and he loved them! He didn’t care too much for the mashed banana. (though he loves baby food banana) He will eat just about everything you give him. Green beans and apricots aren’t on his hot list though. He adores Rice and Lentil dinner from Earth’s Best and squash is always a favorite.

He’s been crawling for several months now. He really gets around! He LOVES to be chased and chase you. He can stand for about 15 seconds without falling down. He wants so bad to walk, but always falls with the first step. We aren’t pushing him to walk because then he’ll be unstoppable.

December is the month to count our blessings and we are so very blessed. We thank God every day for Ryan and know he was meant to be our son. He is really growing up too fast!
